2,319 to receive awards in conjunction with the King's birthday

KUALA LUMPUR: Former Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Abdullah Salleh and Malaysia’s first woman Cabinet minister Tan Sri Fatimah Hashim have been conferred the Seri Setia Mahkota (SSM) which carries the title “Tun,” in conjunction with the birthday of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Syed Putra Jamalullail today. 

They head the list of 2,319 recipients of awards and honours including 21 recipients of the Panglima Setia Mahkota (PSM) which carries the title “Tan Sri,” 54 recipients of the Panglima Jasa Negara (PJN) and three the Panglima Setia di-Raja (PSD), both carrying the title “Datuk.”
