JOHOR BARU: Fama will assist vegetable wholesalers and exporters in Johor to sell their produce locally following Singapore’s decision to close the Pasir Panjang wholesale market until May 4 because of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS).
Johor Baru Vegetable Wholesaler and Supplier Association chairman Yeo Hang Pin said farmers had been allowed to sell their produce at the Larkin stadium car park and Pandan wholesale market from May 1 to 5.
