KANGAR: Perlis is pushing ahead with its plan for longer school hours despite the Education Ministry’s rejection of the move, saying the programme actually meant tuition classes and was not an extension of teaching hours.
A visibly upset Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim said it was unfair to shoot down the proposal without understanding its concept.
