JOHOR BARU: A 17-year-old girl, who claims that she is frequently abused by her father and cursed by her mother, has asked to be placed under the care of the Welfare Department.
She said she started staying with her mother in Puchong, Selangor, in June after her parents separated but returned here early this year to be with her father after much persuasion and promises.
