IN just a few weeks, President Donald Trump dismantled the US government’s ability to combat climate change, overturning environmental policies with moves that could have lasting consequences for the country and the planet.

With a flurry of executive actions, Trump has gutted federal climate initiatives, rolled back pollution regulations and given a major boost to the fossil fuel industry.
