Star Virtual Education Fair webinars open for registration

IF you have questions about studying locally and abroad, don’t miss the Star Virtual Education Fair live webinars.

Visitors can participate in the webinars, to be held on Dec 19 and 20, from the comfort of their homes and learn about educational programmes and courses offered by participating education institutions.

Three lucky winners stand a chance to win a Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite each, depending on how actively they participate in the webinars.

Varsity representatives will also be on hand to provide career guidance during the hour-long sessions.

Among the highlights of the webinar is a talk by the National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) titled “Your Guide to PTPTN Loan & SSPN in Malaysia”.

Visitors who open a National Education Savings Scheme (SSPN) savings account during the live webinar will receive an exclusive gift.

The webinars are part of the second Star Virtual Education Fair which will be held from Dec 18 to 20 from 10am to 7pm daily.

Besides the webinars, the Star Virtual Education Fair will also feature live chat sessions with counselors.

At the end of the fair, there will be a lucky draw for those who register and participate in the webinars.

i.Star Events Sdn Bhd general manager Jason Yap said the virtual fair is the safest and most convenient way for students to learn about their options and future pathways in light of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The fair brings together universities, colleges and educational institutions under one roof, he said, describing it as a “one-stop” education fair that provides aspiring students and parents with information to make the right choice.

Powered by education online platform Uni Enrol, registration for the Star Virtual Education Fair is free, supported by Suria FM and 988 as official radio partners.
