RUNNING events are proliferating in Penang. At least one run is held every few weeks in the state, especially on weekends.
I took part in two events recently — the annual Penang Bridge International Marathon which was held for the first time at the Sultan Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah Bridge on Nov 16 and the 5km Penang Rainbow Run 2014 at the Polo Ground on Dec 7.
