Big draw: The daily throng of countless tourists getting on the motorcycle mural to pose for pictures has led to the bike’s sorry state.
THE motorcycle frame used in the boy-on-a-bike mural in Ah Quee Street was abandoned by a German who rode it from Vietnam to Penang.
“I found it in Love Lane many years ago and it caught my eye because it was a vintage Minsk motorcycle made in the Republic of Belarus, near Russia,” said Lithuanian artist Ernest Zacharevic, who created the mural.
