AS THE founder and inventor of the Blissing Earth Smart Solution or BESS, Tan Yock Kuan has been coming up with piping systems to manage rain water from roof to drain for 12 years now.

Having started out as a radio and television repair man, Tan was introduced to the fascinating world of pipe systems for rainwater in the 1970s while working for a UK-based plastic piping company.
