BEFORE Brickfields was hailed as Kuala Lumpur’s Little India, Lebuh Ampang was the place for city folk to get their daily fix of anything and everything Indian.

For this week’s KL on a Shoestring, we head to Lebuh Ampang where visitors can take in the unique architecture, indulge in saree shopping and end the day with good Southern Indian food, all within a 500m stretch in the heart of KL.
