FOURTEEN employees of a private company in the Prai Industrial Area in Penang had a fun working day, turning up in costumes for work in conjunction with Halloween Day.
The employees of Sun Protection Sdn Bhd had a good time clad in their costumes for their whole working day from 9am to 6pm on Thursday.
Company general manager Ng Man Chu said he mooted the idea to create a better working relationship among employees.
“This will in return create good productivity for the company,” he said, adding that the costumes were rented from a shop in Megamal Pinang in Prai.
“I encouraged my employees to dress up for work for the day in the Halloween costumes, just for fun, just for laughs, just to cheer us all up!” said Ng, who himself wore an ancient Egyptian costume while supervisor Lim Poh Hue dressed as a cowboy.
Other costumes worn by the employees included that of a Ching Dynasty princess, pirates, a witch, Snow White’s stepmother and Frozen’s Elsa.
