Defending the indefensible

THE recent announcement of two child rights activists as winners of this year’s Nobel Peace Prize is not only unprecedented but also gives some hope for humanity.

Malala Yousafzai, a household name after getting shot by Taliban extremists and who has since pursued the right to education even more aggressively, is a more than worthy recipient.
