THE rate of exclusive breastfeeding among mothers in Penang has gone up last year compared with that of the previous year.
State Health Department director Datuk Dr Lailanor Ibrahim said 41.7% of mothers in the state breastfed their babies last year compared with 22.8% in 2012.
