Lack of space forces townships to reject burial of non-residents

CONTROVERSY broke out between a grieving family and caretakers of the Ulu Yam Baru cemetery late last year when a body of a woman was not allowed to be buried there.

The Sivasubramaniam Alayam temple committee, which also oversees the cemetery, was not willing to allow the body to be buried there because the deceased was an outsider.
