Young scientist from Sabah bags crown

Environmental scientist Ranjani Rajamanickam, 24, was named this year’s Miss Malaysia Tourism in a competition that saw 18 finalists vie for the crown.

Hailing from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Ranjani will compete against contestants from 62 other countries in the 18th Miss Tourism International World Final which will be held in Kuala Lumpur in December.
