COUSINS Tristan Cheng and Brittni Tye from the KL Fencing Centre made a strong statement with their results from the National Cadet and Junior Fencing Championship 2014 in Putrajaya.
Tristan, 15, clinched a gold medal in the cadet (under-17) foil category by overcoming Ayzash Irsyad Kamarulnizam 15-8, and Muhammad Daniel Abu Bakar 15-11 en route to a showdown with Hans Yoong from Blade fencing in the finals.
