10 female foreigners caught during Ops Noda Khas

SIBU: A China national is among five foreign women nabbed at a massage parlour located some 200m from the central police station here.

During the Ops Noda Khas on Thursday night aimed at combating immoral activities in this town, the 30-year-old Chinese masseuse was caught together with a male client in a room during the operation.

Both were naked at the time.

There were also cash amounting to RM231, tubes of lubricating gel and a used condom found inside the room.

The woman was detained under Section 372B of the Penal Code for soliciting for sex while the man was released after questioning.

“The male client will act as a witness for the case against the female suspect, whom we also found did not have any valid travelling document, which is an offence under Section 6(1) (c) of the Immigration Act 1959/63 (Amended 2002),” a police spokesman said.

Apart from the five foreign women, the 28-year-old male operator of the massage centre was also booked under Section 373 of the Penal Code for harbouring women for prostitution.

In another raid at a room-for-rent accommodation in Jalan Central the same night, five Indonesian women, the 79-year-old caretaker and a 43-year-old local man were arrested.

Items seized from the place were RM650, two mobile phones, packets of condoms and a handbag.
