A total of 803 people in honours list at Sultan of Perak’s 86th birthday

AFFIN Holdings Bhd chairman Gen (R) Tan Sri Mohd Zahidi Zainuddin heads the honours list of 803 recipients in conjunction with the Sultan of Perak Sultan Azlan Shah’s 86th birthday.

State Secretary Datuk Abdul Puhat Mat Nayan, who released the list at his office on Thursday, said Mohd Zahidi would be conferred the Darjah Seri Paduka Sultan Azlan Shah (SPSA) during the investiture ceremony at the Balairong Seri, Istana Iskandariah, in Kuala Kangsar today.

Mohd Zahidi is the sole recipient of the SPSA, which carries the title of Datuk Seri Diraja.

Chief Secretary to the government Tan Sri Dr Ali Hamsa will be bestowed the Darjah Seri Paduka Cura Si Manja Kini (SPCM), which carries the title Datuk Seri.

There will be four recipients of the Darjah Seri Paduka Mahkota Perak (SPMP), which carries the title Datuk Seri, which included Abdul Puhat, Federal Court judge Tan Sri Abdull Hamid Embong, Orang Kaya Besar Maharaja Diraja Datuk Abd Rahman Zainuddin and Orang Kaya-Kaya Seri Adika Raja Shahbandar Muda Datuk Mohamad Othman Zainal Azim.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar will be awarded the Darjah Seri Panglima Taming Sari (SPTS), which carries the title Datuk Seri Panglima.

Three state executive council members Mohd Nizar Zakaria, Nolee Ashilin Mohamed Radzi and Dr Muhammad Amin Zakaria will be awarded the Darjah Datuk Paduka Cura Si Manja Kini, which carries the title Datuk.

Barisan Nasional state assemblymen Mohd Azhar Jamaluddin (Changkat Jong), Dr Zabri Abdul Wahid (Trong) and Rashidi Ibrahim (Pasir Panjang) will be awarded the Darjah Datuk Paduka Mahkota Perak (DPMP), which also carries the title Datuk.

Other notable recipients of the DPMP included state Agricultural Development Corporation chief executive officer Ahmad Rizal Abdul Rahman, MB Incorporated chief executive officer Aminuddin Zaki Hashim, Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital director Dr Raja Lope Ahmad Raja Ariffin and state MCA vice chairman Chang Chun Cheun.

Other recipients included national bowler and reigning national champion Sin Li Jane, who will be conferred the Pingat Pekerti Terpilih (PPT), Hilir Perak OCPD Asst Comm Goh Kok Liang for the Darjah Paduka Mahkota Perak (PMP), Taiping OCPD ACP Mohd Yusof Diah and Batu Gajah OCPD ACP Shaharon Anuar Abdul Latif for the Darjah Paduka Cura Si Manja Kini (PCM).
