FABULOUS prizes worth more than RM30,000 will be up for grabs at the Star Education Fair 2014’s ‘Spin & Win’ contest.

Among the 14 grand prizes awaiting lucky winners are two iPad Air, two 16GB Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, two 8GB Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, Philips razors, Philips headphones, 500GB hardisks and Popular Book Co. vouchers.

Other prizes such as goodie bags, hotel stay vouchers, entrance passes to theme parks, mugs, tumblers, food containers, organisers, etc, will also be given out during the ‘Spin & Win’ contest.

The Star Education Fair 2014 is on Saturday and Sunday at the Subterranean Penang International Convention and Exhibition Centre (formerly known as PISA) in Relau, from 11am to 7pm.

To be able to take part in the contest, one should cut out the entry form that will appear in The Star newspaper on Saturday and Sunday.

The entry form is only valid for redemption on the date of publication.

The Star will be sold at the circulation booth during the fair on both days.

The main sponsors for the fair are KDU University College Sdn Bhd, ESCAPE Adventureplay and Setia Promenade Sdn Bhd.

Other sponsors are Hard Rock Hotel Penang, Flamingo Hotel by the Beach Penang, Eastin Hotel Penang, Rasa Sayang Resort & Spa, Inbisco (M) Sdn Bhd, Penang Butterfly Farm, Grandalful (M) Sdn Bhd, Eagle & Pagoda Brand Teck Aun Medical Factory Sdn Bhd, Lost World of Tambun, Sky Thomas Food Industries Sdn Bhd and Cinta Sayang Resort.

Visitors can also check out The Star’s ePaper bundle packages during the fair at the circulation booth.

For a special price of RM360, the public can sign up for a year’s of The Star newspaper, plus a year’s access to Star e-paper and e-Flavours.

New subscribers who sign up during the fair will get RM30 AEON shopping voucher. For those who renew their subscription at RM260, will also get two free passes to Bukit Gambang Water Park.

KDU University College business development director Lim Boon Wah reminded visitors to find out more about scholarships offered to students at the KDU University College booth at the fair.

ESCAPE Adventureplay founder and chief executive officer Sim Choo Kheng said each ESCAPE entrance ticket purchased during the fair will enjoy a 20% discount. The tickets will be valid until end of 2014.

SP Setia Penang general manager Khoo Teck Chong said being a sponsor of The Star Education Fair 2014 was part of the company’s corporate social responsibility.

He hoped the contributions by the company would benefit school leavers here.
