Valentine's Day gifts are wonderful, but love is tied to something more practical

SO HERE we are again. Each year on this day, we are bombarded with the idea of love. There are those who will receive Valentine’s Day cards today, or one of those heart-shaped boxes of chocolates even. And there are those who won’t.

I remember as a teenager, this was an angst-filled day, as on the run-up to Valentine’s I would wonder whether I would receive any tokens of admiration from anyone.
