KUCHING: Tan Sri Adenan Satem will take over as Sarawak’s fifth Chief Minister next month when Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud steps down after 33 years in power.
Taib announced this after handing over his resignation letter effective Feb 28 to Yang di-Pertua Negri (TYT) Tun Muhammad Salahuddin at the Astana here yesterday.
