TAMAN Megah residents and those working in the area can now look forward to convenient health facilities, with the recently launched BP Specialist Centre Taman Megah along Jalan SS23/15 in Petaling Jaya.
The centre, aimed to meet the changing trends of people’s lifestyle, enables the local community to obtain a range of healthcare needs.
The outlet has a full range of diagnostic healthcare needs including ultrasound tests, stress tests, blood tests, imaging, radiology services, and others.
Present at the launch were BP Healthcare Group group executive director, Datuk Chevy Beh Yen San, and local celebrities Jojo Struys and Nadia Heng.
Guest of honour at the event was Bukit Lanjan assemblyman Elizabeth Wong Keat Ping.
A ribbon cutting ceremony was held during the opening ceremony, followed by a lion dance and a health talk by Struys.
“We are proud to acknowledge that BP has created great strides in the local healthcare industry and set remarkable standards for other homegrown companies to follow suit,” said Wong in her speech.
“As we all know, a nation’s strength lies in its people and the well-being of the people is safe guarded by quality health care experts such as BP.”
“Our business was originally focused on preventive care and our strengths were originally in diagnostic and laboratory,” said Beh in his speech.
He added that the group introduced an Online Pharmacy, where a registered pharmacist communicates with the customer who can then place their orders online and have it sent to their doorstep, among other services.
“We hope that with our specialist centre set up in Taman Megah, we help to contribute towards a better healthcare standard and improve the quality of life for the communities in this region.”
