LIKE most Malaysians, I am now on annual leave, staying long enough in Singapore for my wife to clean out the stores while lucky enough to witness the Little India riots — lucky because like the odd comet sighting, these things apparently happen just once in 40 years.
I was a tad cautious, since a slight case of mistaken identity might have gotten me arrested instead. Thankfully, I survived and am now Down Under, parked at Fremantle to do some reflection while my wife launches her latest attack on another shopping mall downtown.
