KUCHING: DiGi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd (DiGi) is proud to announce the opening of its fifth DiGi Store Express outlet in the state capital.
The new store at The Summer Shopping Mall is the eighth in Sarawak after the ones in Miri, Sibu and Bintulu.
Located on the second floor of the mall, the DiGi Store Express marks the telecommunications company’s continued promise to deliver a seamless retail experience for its customers.
“In addition to its new attractive layout, our DiGi Store Express is also more interactive, with live demo devices that allow customers the opportunities for a more hands-on experience,
“Our trained customer assistants are here to help buyers by giving them information about the products and selecting the right device to suit their needs. The store offers a broad range of phone and tablet accessories,” the company said in a statement yesterday.
DiGi’s head for Sarawak, Benny Wee said the concept of the store was based on customer feedback.
“This is a reflection on what our customers have told us on how our stores should be. We have always valued all feedback, without which we could not have developed the new store concept for the customers,” he said.
Further he said DiGi put emphasis on in-store experience, with professional staff on hand to entertain walk-in customers.
“All of this is aimed at helping prospective buyers to make better purchasing decision,” Wee said, adding that the feedback also showed the public were higjly keen on new mobile Internet offerings.
The Summer Mall’s DiGi Store Express also has conventional offerings including postpaid bill payments, SIM card replacements, mobile number portability services, phone bundling packages and others.
“In conjunction with this opening, customers who sign up for a new service plan here will have the opportunity to enjoy exclusive merchandises, subject to availability,” Wee said.
Also at the store opening ceremony was DiGi’s head of sales Andrew Voon, The Summer Shopping Mall managing director Datuk Lee Chee Fui and Perfect Mobile Sdn Bhd director Jordan Hong.
