MPOB to assist in erradicating bagworm problem

YONG PENG: Some 10,000ha of oil palm plantation in Yong Peng and Chaah were reported with cases of bagworm infestation.

Ayer Hitam MP Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong said the issue had raised concerns over damage to crops in the affected areas and caused oil palm production to drop by about 40%.
