Utar students contemplate to car pool or use public transport after the fuel price hike

WHEN Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (Utar) student Windy Boo heard about the 20 sen hike in fuel prices on Sept 2, she rushed to the nearest petrol station in Kampar after dinner to fill up her car petrol tank.

However, the banking and finance student abandoned her plans upon arriving at the petrol station as she saw about 50 cars waiting in a long queue to pour fuel before the price hike at midnight.
