KOTA KINABALU: Prince Philip Park in Tanjung Aru here saw more people and activities it has seen in years on Sept 16, as there was a massive turnout of people to the beach area to celebrate Sabah’s 50th Independence with Malaysia.

The beachfront was decorated with lights, canopies and traditional houses built in less than two months for the event, came to live since Sunday with activities being carried out to prepare for the Malaysia Day celebration.
