Bus operators at the Amanjaya Terminal had been reluctant to move there as they deemed its location inconvenient. Passengers have to take either an expensive taxi ride or tiring bus ride ranging from 20 minutes to an hour if they want to reach the city centre from here.
I REFER to the letter “Consult the people first”, published in MetroPerak on Aug 5 and would like to clarify the problem caused by the relocation of the express buses to the Amanjaya Bus Terminal.
Although it is true the relocation has caused a lot of hardship for those who travel by express bus, it is not correct to blame the local council or the state government for ordering the relocation.
