Modenas customers stand to win prizes in campaign

LOOKING to make an impact in the motorcycle industry, Modenas (Motosikal dan Enjin Nasional Sdn Bhd) has introduced its Kempen Penghargaan Berganda Modenas (Modenas Double-Appreciation Campaign) over the next five months.

The company’s motorcycles have garnered much support and popularity over the last 17 years, thanks to their reliability and a number of financing schemes to help many become new owners of a Modenas motorcycle.

This campaign involves all motorcycle models currently available, generally powered by a Kawasaki motor, while the aesthetics have been designed in-house by Modenas, which is under DRB-HICOM Group.

The campaign comes in conjunction with Modenas’ 17th Anniversary of Riding the Roads in Malaysia, from Aug 1 to Dec 31.

Currently, a special promotion for the Modenas CT100 and MR1 (Motosikal Rakyat 1) pro-vides a RM150 Wang Pos rebate, collectible one month after the purchase and in the purchaser’s name.

Over the next five months, a lucky draw will be held each month with highly enticing prizes to be given away, including a Proton Saga SV, Modenas 118 EFi and two Modenas GT 128 or ACE 115.

Other prizes are 40-inch and 32-inch flatscreen TVs, Mini iPad and the Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphones.

Saving the best for last, the three-wheeled Can Am Spyder RSS; producing 106bhp and 104Nm of torque from its 998cc four-stroke two-cylinder V-Twin Rotax motor worth roughly RM120,000 (On-The-Road with Insurance), will be given away as the grand prize at the end of January next year.

To be in the running, one need only purchase a Modenas motorcycle within these next five months, fill out the form (obtainable on www.modenas.com.my, Modenas’ official Facebook page, as well its Twitter and Instagram accounts) and answer two simple questions.

The company currently sells about 70,000 units per annum, possessing about 8% of the market share, with a presence in Europe.

The company has also indicated its plans to create a model (AN 112) specifically for the Asean region, which should be available sometime next year.
