A$7.5mil boost for Ta Ann’s Tasmanian subsidiary


KUCHING: Ta Ann Holdings Bhd’s subsidiary in Australia has received a A$7.5mil (more than RM22mil) boost in the form of a grant from the Tasmanian government.

Ta Ann Tasmania Pty Ltd’s (TAT) plywood project was given the grant, which is part of the A$100mil economic diversification project arising from the Tasmanian Forest Agreement as announced by Australian Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd.
