Coupon system draws resistance Market-goers and traders at Gunung Rapat market want council to address traffic congestion issue first

THE Ipoh City Council’s move to implement the coupon parking system in the Gunung Rapat market area has been met with disapproval from the public.

Market-goers and shop owners alike said the move, which would be implemented in August, only increases the council revenue and does little to ease the daily morning congestion.
