About RM6.2mil spent on repairing houses under ‘Nadi Kasih’ in Sarawak


KUCHING: The Federal Government, through the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) Foundation, has spent about RM6.2mil on repairing houses of the poor under the “Nadi Kasih” programme in Sarawak since last year.

The foundation’s head of public and media relations, Datuk Zahari Sulaiman, said the programme was implemented in nine parliamentary areas in the state. He said the implementations were carried out either on gotong-royong basis or using appointed contractors.
