Malaysia’s first flyway network Adenan: An integrated management plan for Bako-Buntal Bay in the pipeline


KUCHING: The state government will draw up an integrated management plan to sustainably manage Bako-Buntal Bay now that it has been inscribed on the East Asian - Australasian Flyway Site Network (EAAF).

Bako-Buntal Bay is the first flyway network established in Malaysia and one of the world’s Important Bird Areas, said Special Functions Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem.
