ASOT 600 a magical night for thousands of ravers

GOOD things come to those who wait. That was probably what thousands of dance music fans must have felt at the Future Music Festival Asia 2013 presents A State of Trance 600: The Expedition World Tour last Friday. During the rush hour to get to the party (7.30pm onwards), it was literally a parking lot all the way to the outdoor event’s venue at Sepang International Circuit. Imagine being stuck for two hours or more in a 5km line of vehicles.

Cars after cars, that’s all we saw. It was a sea of red lights from the crawling traffic and that was probably the state of trance experience rather than the show. The pre-event experience did not just end with bad traffic but a long walk to the venue. Add crossing numerous drains, walking through the oil palm plantation in the dark (with a handphone flash light!) and carefully sliding down the slopes.
