Bart van der Meer, aka Bart B More, has quickly become one of the brightest stars in the international electronic music scene. He has consistently been crafting dance floor destroyers that have received massive support from prominent DJ’s around the world.

Combining his love for beat-driven, looped techno music with big room house and electro, he has been crafted a refreshing cross-over sound.

He unleashed So It Goes in 2007 and a remix of Sandy Rivera and our own Haze’s Freak, both of which gained extensive international support while being crowned Pete Tong’s Essential New Tunes on BBC Radio 1.

The 10th Pioneer Digital DJ Battle hits the Final this evening from 7pm onwards. One of the most popular DJ competitions since it’s debut in the Malaysia DJ scene in 2003, it has been the launch pad for many well-known DJs and past champions like DJ Fuzz and Victor G.

Only five finalists will be selected and they get 20 minutes each to showcase their talents based on the creative of Pioneer equipment, song selections, mixing & scratching skills, techniques, audience response and overall showmanship.

Born To Funk is the solo project of Amsterdam-based musician Ferdinand Lijnkamp. As a DJ, he is a veteran of the business with over 20 years of experience under his belt and currently performing about 100 gigs a year in and outside The Netherlands.

Back in the day, he started out as a dedicated disco/soul/funk DJ and is known for his immense collection of rare and classic 12 inches.

After learning to mix as a teenager in a mate’s kitchen back in 1995, Rob Gritton has kept a low profile for years only playing at house parties and small events in Essex and London, before moving to Koh Phangan, Thailand in 2005.

Party mad Rob opened the legendary Beach Lounge Bar on the famous Full Moon Party beach in 2008 and started playing tunes, quickly turning heads as a DJ and party organiser.

Rob, or ‘DJ Rob as he is known on the island, became involved in many of the island’s parties and eventually started playing out in many of the major clubs, events and locations around Asia spreading a mix of house and techno everywhere he goes.

Dano has been in the music production and reproduction business for more than 15 years. Following his passion for music he studied jazz in Munich, further adding sound engineering and music production to his skills by going through numerous internships and trainings at TV companies, movie productions, music productions and sound engineering companies.

DJing was always a major part of Dano’s musical career. His first professional engagement was a resident position at the Tilt Club in 1998, where he rocked the house with acid jazz, house and drum’n’bass tracks.
