COSMETICS and beauty company emma lizs Boutique Salon recently announced that it would be chanelling a portion of its sales from its signature products, ReWhite Intensive Set and ResCue Plan Set, to the Rumah Perlindungan Sosial NCWO-YWCA Klang and the City Revival Boys’ and Girls’ Home, Subang Jaya.
Part of its recently launched Woman of Power and Passion (WoPP) loyalty programme, the company plans to carry on with the donations for the next six months to help cover the utility fees and education costs of both homes.
The company announced its commitment to these two homes at its Passionately M.A.D (Making A Difference) event held recently at the Hilton Petaling Jaya to mark the company’s 19 years in the industry.
In her opening speech, company founder Alice Teoh said that the main aim for the event was to celebrate women and that emma lizs’s success was based on the strong relationship it has with its customers and by always being at the forefront of beauty innovation.
Hosted by comedian extraordinaire Joanne Kam Poh Poh, the event kicked off with a symbolic display by Teoh and seven of her customers popping ballons to signify the fact that women can rise up to face many challenges that can only serve to make them stronger and beautiful.
This was followed by several “sexy divas” dressed in elaborate costumes dancing to the music of Lady Gaga.
The finale of the event was the announcement on the emma lizs WoPP Search Winners.
According to Teoh, the six women, Sally Choong, Adelina Awaluddin, Helen Chin Lee Min, Irene Koong, Elizabeth Tan and Madam Yellis were selected because they truly embodied emma lizs WoPP principles.
