Architect’s ‘S11 House’ design wins two awards

WINNING house design with the concept of “a tree in the hot tropics” has done Malaysia proud at the Asia Pacific Design Centre’s 2011 Awards recently.

The residential unit — S11 House by architect Dr Tan Loke Mun, beat more than 500 international projects worldwide to win two awards — the Sustainable Design Award and Residential Unit Award at the event held in Wuxi, China.
