For Dr Frank Kiong, a philosopher, motivational speaker, management consultant and educationist, life is a continuous effort to realise one’s dream and work for the common good. He believes that nothing is impossible. In fact, to him, we are unstoppable, thus reflecting his motto: “If it’s to be, it’s up to me.” Frank is currently an associate professor and director of Open University Malaysia (OUM) Sarawak, Bidayuh Graduate Association president, St. Gregory School Management Board chairman, author of a book “Dare to Change” and a visiting business professor at Arab Open University, Bahrain. He has a diploma in investment analysis, a bachelor degree majoring in finance and specialised master of finance. For his PhD, he chose to do human resource and training. In this interview with The Star, Frank, a son of a farmer, talks about his life’s experience, discipline, success and education.
