Kou Rou dish is popular among Chinese community

KOU ROU, a traditional Hakka dish made with sliced pork belly with Mei Chai or yam, is a popular dish among Chinese community.

Fish (which symbolises significance), chicken (family unity), duck (fidelity) and garlic shoots which symbolise lots of money to count are commonly seen in the prosperity menus served during Chinese New Year for all dialect groups.
