Engineer secretariat sets up in UTM

JOHOR BARU: Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) became the first higher learning institution to establish the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) secretariat in its campus which will allows students to be professional engineers.

UTM vice-chancellor Prof Datuk Dr Zaini Ujang said with the establishment of IEM southern secretariat in the campus would also allow more UTM staff to be qualified as professional engineers.
