Bukit Aliff folk gather for gotong-royong activity

JOHOR BARU: For Ismail Mustaffa, 74, participating in a gotong-royong to clean up the cemetery is a good way to pay homage to the dead and contribute to the community.

The retired soldier said that he would regularly take part in these events as it not only kept him active, but also reminded him of his son who died in 1981.
