A GROUP of about 30 people observed a minute’s silence at the Speaker’s Square at the Esplanade, Penang, as a show of solidarity for the activists on board Turkish ship Mavi Marmara, which was ambushed by Israeli commandos.
The group, led by Universiti Sains Malaysia Student Progress Front member Hiew Kai Sheng, had gathered at the square at about 6.30pm on Wednesday.
