Malacca is looking at developing Pulau Besar yet again

MALACCA: Over the past three decades the mystical island of Pulau Besar, has seen numerous attempts to develop it failing miserably.

Located about a 30-minute boat-ride from the Umbai coastline and measuring roughly 3sq km in diameter, the island has defied attempts to tap its tourism potential over the years.
