Johor’s mobile phone coverage reaches 98%

JOHOR BARU: The state’s mobile phone coverage now stands at 98%, following the completion of 197 transmitter stations last year.

Local Government, Housing, Arts, Culture and Heritage Committee chairman Datuk Ahmad Zahri Jamil said the transmitter stations were completed by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (SKMM) under the TIME2 project.
