The Penang Government has asked consultants and contractors eyeing state projects to submit cost-effective tender bids to attract its attention.
Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said the state government was concerned about escalating construction costs and encouraged bidders to re-duce price when submitting their tenders so as to be competitive with the rest.
