Veet assistant brand manager Jessica Chan said the annual event was about women having the confidence in displaying their smooth legs.

“Korina certainly reflected those qualities. Her poise and confidence on the runway was extraordinary.

“We would like to applaud all our finalists who made extra effort to groom themselves,” Chan said.

Korina was clearly energised by cheers from spectators, some of whom were friends and family.

“Joining this challenge has allowed me to enhance my self esteem. I feel beautiful and confident enough to show off my legs during the catwalk in front of so many people,” Korina said.

Partners of Veet for the event were Celebrity Fitness, Forever 21 and Chezz Technique

The four judges — Jessica Chan (Reckitt Benckiser), Michael Andreas (Celebrity Fitness), Lee Yvonne (Miss Veet 2008) and Sarah Lian (voted by FHM magazine as Malaysia Most Wanted Woman 2008) — had a tough time deciding the winner.

Korina received a grand prize of RM1,500, Celebrity Fitness vouchers and Veet products.

Rinny and Norraine received RM1,000 and RM700 respectively, as well as Celebrity Fitness vouchers and Veet products.
