LAST September, children in France went back to school and in October, French universities and institutions of higher learning began their academic year which ends next June. Hardly surprising then that I met some Malaysian students in Paris.
One of them was 21-year-old Amanda Lit Yi Ting from Petaling Jaya who described the autumn weather as “okay, not so cold”. When I complimented Amanda on her coat, she said: “Bought from a boutique at The Curve, only hundred ringgit”.
