JOHOR BARU: It is unlawful for the city council to impose a deposit on traders to ensure they abide by regulations in relation to their businesses.
MCA Johor Baru division chief Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong said he was against the ruling imposed by Johor Baru City Council on 16 sectors categorised as “sensitive business” in the city.
