Forest rehab campaign


OVER 1,100 secondary students na-tionwide participated in the National Shoreline Forest Rehabilitation Awareness Campaign that was launched simultaneously in all Peninsular Malaysia states yesterday.

The campaign was aimed at improving awareness on the local ecosystem and encouraging the planting of mangroves and other trees along the shoreline, said Penang Forestry Director Mohd Puat Da-halan.
