A WEEKLY contribution of RM1 each from 400 employees can help buy a month’s grocery supply for a hardcore poor family, state Health, Welfare and Caring Society Committee chairman Phee Boon Poh said.
And, if their employer could commit to a ringgit-to-ringgit matching grant, he said, their total monthly collection of RM3,200 could be distributed among 16 families, with each receiving RM200 a month.
